Passion is a powerful force, an energy born from what excites you. In order to be successful in your business, you must be passionate about the work that you do. If you are not passionate about what you do, you will quickly become burnt out or bored.
Think about it. Do you know any successful people who are not passionate about what they do?
The one thing about holidays is that there are a lot of them. We have them in all seasons and for just about every occasion imaginable. There are spring holidays and fall ones. There are happy, cheerful ones; there are reserved, solemn ones. The one thing all these holidays have in common is that they present a great opportunity for quality marketing.
There’s a lot that goes into winning a game on the gridiron. One part is to come up with a great game plan, and another is to execute that plan to perfection. But win or lose, it doesn’t stop there. After the final whistle has blown, it’s time to head to the film room to carefully examine what went wrong and look for ways to improve upon it. You can also figure out what went right and look for ways it can be repeated.

It wouldn’t be a new year without New Years’ resolutions. We’ve made plenty of them in our time. We’ve promised ourselves we would lose weight or eat right or a whole host of other things. Some of these resolutions never survived beyond the New Years’ party we were attending at the time. Others bit the dust even before February rolled around.
If you’re serious about taking your business to the next level, here’s one New Years’ resolution you’ll want to keep. This year spend time working ON your business and not just IN your business.

If you’re not trimming the tree, you’re looking through online sales trying to complete your Christmas shopping without rupturing your bank account.
It’s no surprise that with so much going on you might be tempted to put off planning for next year’s marketing until things get back to normal. Don’t fall into that trap. The best time to make a plan is before you actually need that plan. The sooner you get started, the more time you have to think it through and to make adjustments.
