Happy Holidays to All
Many of the stories during the holiday season often evoke thoughts on the possibilities of magic and miracles. And in that spirit, we would like to wish you the greatest gift of all: a wonderful life. But no matter how much we wish it, remember that most of that magic will have to come from you and your efforts to make it so, just like George Bailey.
This holiday season we wish you hope.
Many people may confuse hope and faith, and while they can be interchanged, think of faith as being almost certain the sun will rise tomorrow, and hope as feeling that even if the sun doesn't rise, it could still be a good day.
Having an optimistic outlook is important for both your physical and emotional health. Hopeful thinking is what allows us to make goals and find ways to make those goals happen. Hope is what helps us say “I think I can”.
So look on the bright side. Have dreams. Think of problems as challenges and be confident. If you want a better future, roll up your sleeves and create it.
This holiday season we wish for you the gift of wonder.
Life is an adventure. We don't want you to miss it. Be present. Don’t sleepwalk through your life and don't fill your days with so much meaningless activity.
Try new things.
Make meaningful connections with others.
Listen.
Learn.
Be curious.
Pay attention to the little things.
Be excited.
Savor the sensations of the present, because, like the holiday season, they are very fleeting.
This holiday season we wish you great joy.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “joy” as “a feeling of great happiness”. When was the last time you had that warm, fuzzy feeling? Learn to find joy in even the smallest things in life. Laugh more. Look for the good in others. Help people and allow them to help you in turn. Don't feel the need to express all your opinions—you'll avoid many arguments and also may find you're making someone's day by listening to their opinion for a change.
This holiday season we wish you a wonderful life.
